Bar Chords

I spent this afternoon with a friend who is trying to help me with playing bar chords.  I keep insisting that my fingers seem too little, but I guess if God put the desire in my heart to play, than He also gave me the fingers to play.  I’ve only been playing guitar for a little more than a year, and I’ve taught myself everything I know, but it’s definitely time to take it up a notch.  I keep hearing from people that my strumming has a folk sound and while there is nothing wrong with folk music, it’s not what I want to do.  So hopefully, if I keep working, my songs will have a rock/pop sound very soon!  Gotta get practicing!
